Armed with bags packed with bare necessities, a soldier, a marine, and their friends marched into moore square to see who they could help. "In the army we put our backpacks on with weight, and we carry them long distances," Jake Strickland, founder of Cardio Blessings, said. "So I started doing that as my cardio. I decided to, since I was in the season of giving, to start putting food in backpacks and walking it to homeless people, sitting down engaging with them กระเป๋าสะพายข้างผู้หญิง where they were at." That's how Cardio Blessings was born. And on this Easter weekend, the military members enlisted the help of a church group. "Jesus, this is what he did, he was out in the streets, he wasn't set up high somewhere looking down," Gospel Tabernacle Youth Leader Anna Strickland said. However, their mission project began at the top of a tall parking deck next to the park. "We knew this was going to be a great spot, because one, we're higher up," Jake Strickland said. "We can kind of see our immediate surrounding areas, and just kind of get an idea of what buildings are around. We located some of the shelters on a map, and we've printed off maps to give to our volunteers as well." Teens filled their bags with snacks, drinks, toiletries, and even dog food to distribute.
